Here is some useful advice for sizing, assembly, positioning and getting the getting the maximum duration out of your home fragrance.

1. It is very important to use all the sticks or vine reeds supplied with the chosen fragrance. It is recommended not to use fewer sticks than are supplied.
2. On first use it is necessary to let the sticks or reeds soak for an hour and then turn them over.
3. To adjust the intensity of the home fragrance, all or part of the sticks/reeds provided must be turned one or more times a day.
4. The sticks that accompany each diffuser are designed to keep the colour of the fragrance stable (therefore black sticks are for the exclusive use of Rosso Nobile and Maserati).

The duration your home fragrance will last, depends on the size of the space in which it is located, the temperature, direct sunlight and air currents that can speed up evaporation. However, there are some suggestions to make the fragrance last longer:

1. Buy a refill of your fragrance and use it to keep the level of the liquid at the recommended height. The amount of oxygen in the bottle will affected the rate of evaporation.
2. Keep the fragrance away from heat sources
3. Choose the bottle size proportionate to the area you wish to fragrance.

For a good diffusion of the fragrance, we recommend the following based on room size:

1. 250 ml bottles - 5 to 10m²
2. 500 ml bottles - 10 to 20 m²
3. 1250 ml bottles - 20 to 30 m²
4. 2500 ml bottles - 30 to 50 m²
5. 5000 ml bottles - for large rooms over 50 m²

(the recommended choice is calculated on a ceiling height of 3 m to 4.50 m)

1. The diffuser must be positioned in the centre of the room so, when people pass by, the air moves and the fragrance circulates.
2. For larger rooms it is advisable to have two positioned on the opposite ends of the room you wish to fragrance. 
3. Do not place the diffuser on polished, varnished or painted surfaces, on electrical equipment, near / over sources of heat. 

1. Upon the first lighting, cut the wick, leaving a length of at least 1 cm.
2. From the second time onwards of lighting the candle, it is advisable to mildly cut the wick, always maintaining a length of at least 1 cm.
3. Make sure that the melted wax is free of matches and other debris to avoid flames.
4. Make sure that the wax melts up to the walls of the candle.
5. Always extinguish the flame. Don't blow on it. Never use liquid to extinguish a candle.
