A roar. The motorcycle starts. We ride down a dirt path, cross a wooden bridge that balances precariously over a ford. Breathless zigzags.

The patchouli farms unfold before our eyes. The dark green leaves are drying in the open air.

Suddenly the wind rises. In the distance, the sky darkens. Electric tension. The leaves are twirling. The storm that seemed so far away reaches us in the space of an instant. The thunder rumbles. One drop, two drops... a torrential downpour.

The night falls and stretches on in the crushing humidity. The rain is incessant; the lightning thunders endlessly until the early morning. Patchouli Magnetik."

Orpur® is a label created by Givaudan that is awarded to the finest, most emblematic natural perfume ingredients.

Patchouli Magnetik is mainly composed of Orpur® "grand cru" raw materials: patchouli from Indonesia, sandalwood from Australia, vanilla from Madagascar and benzoin from Laos. The Givaudan captives used in the creation of Patchouli Magnetik guarantee the singularity of this perfume extract. Karmaflor is derived from the scent of the Ashoka flower using a headspace extraction technique, and provides a fresh, luminous and tropical floral note. Nympheal brings a floral, creamy and transparent sweetness to the composition - with tones of lily of the valley, which complement well with the lactonic quality of sandalwood.
